1. GET YOUR BLOOD FLOWING
Save electricity and an expanding waistline by heating your body up naturally with a workout. The rise in your body temperature, during a workout, has a soothing, calming effect on your body, not unlike a long soak in a warm bath or lying in front of the heater.
2. MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTH DURING FLU SEASON
Research has shown time and again that regular exercise strengthens your immune system so it can better fight off the flu. When you exercise and get your blood pumping, immune cells circulate through your body more quickly helping them seek and destroy infections. But this boost only lasts for a few hours, so exercise needs to be regular for long-term effects.
3. BE HAPPY... & BEAT THE 'BLUES'
A daily workout releases feel-good, de-stress brain chemicals, gives you a break from the daily grind and helps ease depression. We know that after exercise, the brain releases the “feel-good” chemicals serotonin and dopamine, which can help to reduce anxiety and depression while boosting wellbeing. 30 minutes each day could change your whole outlook!
4. TAKE A DEEP BREATH
Deep breathing sends a message to the brain to relax, which in turn tells the body to decrease the stress responses. In short, breathing retrains our nervous system's response to triggers and allows us to step back so we can proceed with positivity. Pilates focuses on breath-work throughout movement - a form of moving meditation.
5. AVOID WEIGHT GAIN
When you focus on one area of health (more exercise), you tend to focus on other areas too...like, healthy eating! Our goal is to combine these positive health focuses with better sleep and hydration so that you look and feel great!
I hope I have inspired you to getting 'Moving More' - contact me to make your first appointments and discuss how you can feel a million times better than you currently do! Please note this new pricing strategy has now commenced.
